Advisory meeting of 14 July, 10:15 – 11:05

Draft

Background & objective

An inheritance from last year is to be invested. The aim is ongoing income with no fixed capital requirement over the next few years.

Risk profile & investment horizon

Balanced, horizon around ten years. The client names a drop of 20 per cent as the limit she could tolerate.

Disclosures given

  • Price fluctuations and possible capital losses explained
  • Ongoing costs and fees disclosed
  • Currency risk in the foreign-currency portion discussed

Client decision & next steps

The client opts for the proposal discussed, entering the market in stages over six months. Documents by Friday, follow-up meeting in October.

Every statement links back to its place in the transcript. Review & sign off

Illustrative example of a template. You decide which sections your record needs.

Already in use at more than 1,500 organizations.

The difference

The same client meeting. Two completely different afternoons.

The record either comes out of the meeting itself — or hours later from keywords and memory.

Before

The advisory meeting ends. The paperwork begins.

Notes during the conversation Eyes on the notepad

Writing the record squeezed between appointments

Disclosures given from memory

Result

Left for the evening

What was really said in the meeting can only be reconstructed afterwards.

How it works

Four steps that fit into a client meeting.

Nothing changes in the meeting except one click at the start. The only extra work is reading the draft through at the end.

Advisory meeting at a table with documents and a recording running
The device sits on the table. Nothing else happens during the conversation.
  1. 01

Start the recording and tell the client

One click on your laptop or your phone. You tell the person across from you that you are recording the meeting for the record — one sentence is enough, and they can decline at any time. The recording never starts on its own.

  2. 02

    Advise as usual

No dictation, no note-taking. Swiss German, standard German, French or English — including switching between them. Who said what is shown separately from the Pro plan.

  3. 03

    Your template fills in

Background, risk profile, disclosures given, client decision — in exactly the structure your firm requires. Not in a generic scheme.

  4. 04

    Review, correct, sign off

Every statement can be looked up in the transcript. Only your sign-off turns the draft into a record — as PDF, Word or structured text for your filing.

Your everyday work

These are the conversations that land on your desk.

Advisory meetings that have to be documented.

Client & wealth advisors

  • Investment advisory meeting
  • Portfolio review
  • Retirement and pension planning
  • Mortgage consultation
  • Lending meeting
  • Annual client review
  • Tax planning meeting
  • Succession and estate planning
  • Corporate client meeting
  • Compliance meeting

Outcomes

More time with the client. Less time on follow-up work.

Three things that actually change in day-to-day advisory work.

Attention

You look at the person across from you.

No note-taking during the meeting. Even complex questions about the portfolio, taxes or pensions can be worked through calmly.

Time

The record does not wait until Friday.

Instead of writing up every meeting again in the evening, you read a draft through and sign it off.

Traceability

Two years from now, what was discussed is still documented.

Disclosures, questions and decisions are where they belong — and every entry points to the place in the transcript.

Trust in advisory work

The four questions your compliance team asks first.

Client meetings in financial advice are particularly sensitive. So here are the answers before you have to ask — including what we do not do.

For firms with the strictest requirements, the AI processing also runs on dedicated Swiss servers on the Enterprise plan.

01

Consent & client confidentiality

You say so before you start: “I am recording our meeting for the record — is that all right with you?” If the client declines, you write the record as before. Consent and the legal assessment of your setting remain with you.

02

Retention & access

Hosting and storage exclusively in Switzerland, aligned with the revised Swiss FADP and the GDPR. How long audio recordings are kept is something you set as a team policy (depending on plan); you can delete them manually at any time. Access runs through roles and folders.

03

Your sign-off

Meeting Metrics produces a draft, not a finished record, and does not fulfil any documentation obligation for you. If the AI attributes a disclosure incorrectly, you correct it when you read the draft through — responsibility for the signed-off record stays with the adviser.

04

Dialect & clinical terminology

57 languages including Swiss German, even when the meeting switches between them. You store product names, ISIN numbers and in-house terms as your own vocabulary so that the spelling is right.

FAQ

What advisory teams want to know before they start.

Only with the consent of the person you are meeting. One sentence is enough, for example: “I am recording our meeting so that I do not have to type the record while we talk — is that all right with you?” If the client declines, you write the record as before; the recording never starts on its own. Whether and how you may record is for your compliance team to decide — we provide the tool, not the legal assessment.
Everything is held in Switzerland, and you decide how long for. How long audio recordings are kept after processing is something you set as a policy for your team — this setting depends on your plan. Manual deletion is possible at any time, and access to recordings and records runs through roles, user groups and folders. Your data does not train any models. A data processing agreement is included.
You are. Meeting Metrics produces a draft, not a signed-off record, and does not fulfil any documentation obligation on your behalf. To make reading through quick, every statement is linked to the place in the transcript: one click shows you what a sentence is based on, instead of listening to the whole recording again.
Yes. 57 languages including Swiss German are supported; a meeting may switch between dialect, standard German, French and English, and you choose the language of the record yourself. For product names, fund names, ISIN numbers and internal abbreviations you store your own vocabulary. The best test is an existing recording from your everyday work.
No — and we would rather say so up front. There is currently no interface to core banking systems or CRM solutions such as Avaloq, Finnova, Assetmax or Salesforce. What there is: export as PDF, Word or structured text, plus filing directly to SharePoint/OneDrive and Confluence. Tell us which system you use and we will talk it through concretely.
Yes. You define your own templates per meeting type, with exactly the sections your firm requires. Alternatively, you upload an existing record template and Meeting Metrics adopts its structure. We do not supply templates checked against regulation — which points your record has to contain is set out in your own specification.
