  • Interim report to the board · Chair · Meeting of 4 December

The difference

The same meeting. Two completely different weeks afterwards.

A board rarely struggles with the decision, but with what has to be written down afterwards.

How it works

Four steps that fit the agenda.

Nothing about the meeting itself changes. The only additional step is reading the draft through.

Board meeting at the table, recording running via the laptop
A laptop on the table records. The meeting needs no more technology than that.
  1. 01

    Announce and start the recording

At the start, the chair notes that the meeting is being recorded for the minutes. Recording is done with the desktop or mobile app; alternatively you upload an existing file. No bot dials into your meeting.

  2. 02

    Run the meeting as before

57 languages including Swiss German, also switching with standard German, French or English. Even a meeting lasting several hours goes through as a single recording.

  3. 03

    Your template fills itself in

Agenda item, considerations, resolution and actions in the structure your rules of procedure prescribe — not in a generic scheme. From the Pro plan the voices are separated as well.

  4. 04

    Read through, circulate, approve

Every formulation can be looked up in the transcript. You send the checked draft as PDF or Word, or file it in Confluence, SharePoint or OneDrive; actions go to Jira or Microsoft To Do.

Outcomes

The board decides. The minutes follow.

Three things that actually change in board work.

Discussion

The minute-taker no longer takes notes.

Whoever used to type can listen, ask questions and take part in the decision.

Tracking

Actions leave the meeting with a name and a date.

“We'll clarify that by the end of the quarter” becomes a task with an owner and a deadline.

Traceability

The path to the resolution stays documented.

For every consideration in the draft you find the matching passage in the transcript — even weeks later when someone asks.

Trust in the board

The four questions a board asks first.

A meeting produces strategy, finance and personnel decisions. So here are the answers before anyone has to ask.

For boards with the strictest requirements, the Enterprise plan runs the AI processing on dedicated Swiss servers too.

01

Draft, not minutes

Meeting Metrics delivers a draft. The approval at the next meeting and the signatures of the chair and the minute-taker stay with the board — exactly as they do today.

02

Who records and who reads

You decide for each meeting whether to record at all — with a recusal or a personnel matter, simply not. Access to recordings and minutes is based on roles and folders.

03

Retention on your terms

How long the audio recording stays is up to the board. You can delete manually at any time, and you can configure an automatic retention period from the Basic plan.

04

Switzerland and no training data

Hosting and storage exclusively in Switzerland, compliant with the revised Swiss FADP and the GDPR. Your meetings train no models, neither ours nor those of third parties.

FAQ

What boards want to know before their first use.

Missing a question? Write to us directly.

That's your decision, not ours. It is customary for the chair to announce the recording at the start and to note in the minutes that nobody objected; your rules of procedure may add further requirements. The recording never starts by itself — you decide anew for every meeting. We supply the tool, not the legal assessment of your setting.
Yes. 57 languages including Swiss German, even when the board switches between dialect, standard German, French and English; you choose the language of the minutes yourself. Even a meeting lasting several hours is uploaded as one recording. For names, shareholdings and internal abbreviations you store your own vocabulary so that the spelling is right.
No. There is no bot that joins as a participant — and in a board setting that is usually not wanted either. Recording is done with the desktop app on the meeting computer, with the mobile app in the room, or you upload a file that you have already recorded in Teams or Zoom. Hybrid meetings are captured this way through the audio of the meeting computer.
From the Pro plan, speaker identification separates the voices and gives every statement a timestamp. You assign the names yourself afterwards — “Speaker 1” becomes “Dr. Müller, chair”. In the Free plan you get one continuous transcript without speaker separation.
As a PDF or Word file, or directly to Confluence, SharePoint and OneDrive. Adopted actions can be handed over as tasks to Jira or Microsoft To Do. There is no integration with board portals such as Diligent or Sherpany — the draft goes there as a file.
Yes. You define your own templates for the board of directors, the executive board or a committee — with exactly the blocks your rules require. Alternatively, you upload existing minutes as a PDF or Word file and Meeting Metrics takes over their structure.
