We are often asked how we actually use Meeting Metrics ourselves. In this post, we want to show a concrete use case – one of several ways we use our tool in everyday life.

When the three of us work on the further development of Meeting Metrics – on new features, product focus, or strategic decisions – we meet once a month, on the last Saturday, physically in St. Gallen. Even though Meeting Metrics facilitates many remote meetings, it turns out: it works just as well for in-person meetings.

We start with a clear agenda, discuss open points, and prioritize together. The conversations often last several hours. Therefore, we record everything from the start – with the goal of not forgetting anything later and being able to work on it purposefully.

Because longer meetings generate several audio files, we built a feature that we urgently needed ourselves: multiple files can be uploaded and automatically merged into a single conversation transcript.

After uploading, we use our own templates – specially tailored to our physical workshop formats. They help us navigate the conversation in a structured way, filter out key content, and document it cleanly.

It is important to us that: private or non-contextual parts of the conversation are systematically excluded. It is only about what is relevant for the further development of the solution.

The identified tasks and deadlines are currently still transferred manually to our project management tool Teamwork. This transfer will be possible automatically in the future – the development of the API connection is already underway.

In parallel, our current focus is on three topics:

  1. the API solution,
  2. the desktop app,
  3. and the mobile app, to integrate Meeting Metrics even more seamlessly and flexibly into existing work processes – whether on the go, hybrid, or on site.

Our monthly founder sessions are just one example of how we use Meeting Metrics ourselves – and show why certain features were created exactly as they work today.
